Verified Claims
October support contract
Qualified. Reproductions of the Department of Defense’s October 13, 2026 announcement identify W58RGZ-27-D-A007 as a $117,118,040 IDIQ contract for Generation II RFI post-production support. Pricing includes cost-no-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price arrangements. Estimated completion is October 12, 2031. Funding and locations are determined with orders. The reproduction specifically says one bid was solicited with one received. The original announcement and transaction record remain unread.

FY2023 DPA order
Qualified. The indexed Department of Defense paragraph for August 30, 2023 identifies W58RGZ-23-F-0435 as a $60,539,401 firm-fixed-price MRFI production/support award. The full amount was obligated from FY2023 Defense Production Act Purchases funds. Estimated completion is October 31, 2026. GovTribe’s federal-data reproduction places the order under W52P1J-18-D-0061. That crosswalk remains secondary. The browser returned Access Denied for the original announcement page.
Records: Department of Defense August 30, 2023 announcement and GovTribe parent and order crosswalk
P00013 and the 2023 date sequence
Qualified. The indexed June 22, 2023 Department of Defense paragraph records $192,199,684 modification P00013 to W52P1J-18-D-0061, with funding by order and estimated completion August 31, 2023. The DPA order was announced August 30, one day before that estimate, and carried the later October 2026 completion estimate. This comparison uses announcement dates and reported estimates. HigherGov separately reports an ordering-period extension from August 31, 2023 to January 12, 2024. Its amendment summary is secondary and was not reconciled to an original modification.
Records: Department of Defense June 22, 2023 announcement, Department of Defense DPA-order announcement and HigherGov vehicle amendment summary and ordering-period field
Production before the 2018 vehicle
Qualified. The indexed December 15, 2016 Department of Defense paragraph identifies P00012 to W52P1J-16-C-0007, adding 43 MRFI systems for $31,499,392. It records the same amount obligated from “Fiscal 2015 other funds” and estimates completion March 31, 2020. Lockheed’s October 28, 2019 release dates first MRFI production delivery to February 2018. The earlier production contract supplies the chronology. No record reviewed assigns that first delivery specifically to the 43 systems added by P00012.

Separate 2018 IDIQ
Qualified. The indexed September 14, 2018 Department of Defense announcement identifies W52P1J-18-D-0061, a $59,941,683 fixed-price-incentive domestic/FMS contract, with funding by order and estimated completion August 31, 2023. The listed FMS countries are the United Kingdom, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Republic of Korea. The Army’s December 2022 SAR separately identifies the same MRFI Production and Services IDIQ and reports September 1, 2018 as its award/work-start date. Announcement and SAR date fields are preserved separately. Both primary records were recovered as indexed text.
Records: Department of Defense September 14, 2018 announcement and AH-64E Remanufacture December 2022 SAR, printed page 29
2024 production and support vehicle
Qualified. HigherGov identifies W58RGZ-24-D-0078 with Generation II/III production/support scope and a $382,776,904 ceiling, and identifies W58RGZ-24-F-0451 as an order under it. These are commercial reproductions of federal data. The article uses the ceiling as a vehicle value. Original transactions are needed to reconcile changing obligation and potential-value snapshots and identify the development order.

Congressional increase explains the added money
Confirmed. The final FY2026 defense appropriations explanatory statement’s Aircraft Procurement, Army project-level table adds $360 million for AH-64E reman aircraft. Line 9 rises from a $1.669 million request to $361.669 million in the Final Bill column. The primary table was opened and visually checked at PDF page 108, immediately after printed page 64. Public Law 119-75 was enacted February 3, 2026. Section 4 addresses the effect of the explanatory statement. The table identifies the increase’s purpose but gives no aircraft contract or seven-aircraft quantity.

Lockheed development announcement
Confirmed. On October 15, 2024, Lockheed announced work to develop, build and qualify Generation III RFI/RWR APR-48B, with a long-term plan to replace fielded Generation II and integrate across Apache aircraft. Its announced design uses MCP-2 and introduces RFSoC technology into APR-48B, drawing on SHIP and STAMP work. This confirms the company’s announced plan and design description, not completed qualification. The release names no contract identifier or dated production/retrofit milestone.
FY2027 AH-64 Mods request
Qualified. The FY2027 Army AH-64 Mods narrative, page 4 of 27, printed Vol. 1-82, includes G2RFI within Sensors. The FY2027 AH-64 Mods request is $251.645 million for the whole line. The Department of Defense’s FY2027 weapon-system summary describes Apache funding for ongoing modifications and service-life extensions. Both documents were recovered as indexed primary text. Their broader totals are not an RFI funding allocation.

DLA component procurement
Confirmed. The original SAM solicitation SPRRA1-26-R-0036 identifies DLA Aviation at Huntsville as the contracting office. Published June 5, 2026 at 09:40 EDT, its six PRON paragraphs each propose 28 components. These include antenna 317A840-1, radar processor 317A960-1, radar-receiver coupler 213A200-3, RF cable 317A853-1, electrical cable 317A852-1 and receiver-processor 317A710-1. All six part numbers also appear in MRFI equipment line 25 of the UK schedule, recovered as an indexed section (see UK MRFI supply route). The browser page expressly gives 28 receiver-processors. Both cable paragraphs print NSN 5995-01-670-4902. These are the published solicitation’s proposed quantities. Its source history, cable discrepancy and eventual use remain subject to the limits below.

Component overhaul requirement
Confirmed. The original three-component SAM notice W58RGZ-26-R-0076 was first published June 4, 2026 and updated July 7. Its full displayed Description was read in the browser. It covers antenna 317A840-1, radar processor 317A960-1 and receiver-processor 317A710-1. Estimated minima/maxima are 6/14, 2/20 and 10/60, respectively. The maxima include 2, 4 and 10 FMS items. It anticipates a 60-month FFP IDIQ with five priced ordering periods. The stated delivery schedule begins 120 days after asset receipt, at two antenna/processor items per month and ten receiver-processors per month. These are prospective requirements. The notice expressly says no contract award will result from the sources-sought notice.
Record: Public SAM overhaul notice, General Information and Description
Separate Longbow support requirement
Confirmed. The original SAM presolicitation W58RGZ-26-R-0004 was published July 22, 2026 at 13:03 CDT. Its Description seeks Apache FCR depot and supply support, including stock, storage and issuance of legacy and Generation 2 RFI components. It also describes depot repair at LRM/LRU level. The notice restricts the service to Longbow LLC, CAGE 04WF2, and anticipates a 60-month hybrid IDIQ using FFP and CPFF orders. The complete displayed description was read in the browser. This confirms the stated requirement. A presolicitation is not an award, and this scope belongs to the Longbow requirement.
Record: Public SAM July FCR notice, General Information and Description
UK MRFI supply route
Qualified. Appendix 1, equipment line 25 of Schedule A to contract 701760450 excludes MRFI Package D material flow because export-release constraints on industry make the items FMS-only. Other support columns have different scopes. This is a supply restriction on the listed configuration, not exclusion of every MRFI service. The relevant indexed primary section was recovered. Direct retrieval of the full attachment returned 403.
Australian notification and designation
Confirmed. Transmittal 21-42 lists 29 AN/APR-48B MRFIs, ties the detachable user data module to the RF threat library, and records release authorization for the listed equipment. Congress was notified June 3, 2021. Federal Register publication was February 14, 2023. The correct record is FR Doc. 2023-03117, 88 FR 9502–9505. The earlier PDF identifier 2023-03129 was a different document. The annex does not identify Generation III.
